Wendy didn't take up writing until she retired. At the age of seventy, Wendy had her first book published. She is the youngest daughter of John and Connie Moxon, and she has a strong bond with both her sisters, Valerie Owen and Carol Wood. Both her son, Spencer Gill, and daughter, Deborah Hotchkiss, encourage her to keep writing.
