Hank Greenberg, nicknamed "Hammerin' Hank" and the "Hebrew Hammer," was an American professional baseball player in the 1930s and 1940s. He was a five-time All-Star, was twice named the American League's Most Valuable Player, and was elected to the Hall of Fame in 1956.
