The Author, Venkataraman. M, hails from Tamilnadu state in India. He worked in various Ministries and Departments of the Central Secretariat, New Delhi on a wide range of subjects, which include matters relating to Public Administration, Recruitment procedures, Preparation of reports and Personnel management. He retired as Deputy Secretary, Union Public Service Commission, New Delhi in 2004 after putting in more than 35 years of service in the Government of India.
