Ibrahim was born in 1966 in Ankara, Turkey. He is married and have been living in the U.S. He received his B.Sc. in 1989 at METU Ankara, Turkey in the field of Physical Education, Sports and Recreation, his master s degree in Teaching and Administration in 1993 at Springfield College, Massachusetts, completed his Ed.D.in 2010 at UMASS Amherst.
