This book has two core pieces as its subject. One is the topic of "happiness" and the other is the area of "job satisfaction". Within the framework of a literature analysis, both terms are first derived from their respective histories up to their current understanding. Ultimately, the focus of the book is on bringing together both generic terms and elaborating current findings on both research areas, as well as answering the research question of the extent to which the personal perception of happiness has an influence on job satisfaction.
