This research article is approached from the perspective of positive psychology in the field of work and organisational psychology, taking up contemporary authors such as Seligman, Salanova, Peiró, Bauman, Blanch, Rentería and classics such as Marx, Garder, Foucault, From, Weber, among others.It seeks to carry out a historical, systematic and methodical bibliographical review of topics of scientific interest for the Psychology of Organisations and work, describing the conceptions of work, the need to promote happiness at work in organisations as a positive psychological state in the collaborator, strengthening the engagement so that work has as meaning and sense a positive psychological state that leads to job satisfaction, loyalty, loyalty of the collaborator and the effectiveness and productivity in the organisation (Salanova, 2009).
