Happiness is the goal of human life; yet, many of us (if we be truthful to ourselves) are unhappy a significant part of the time, or we're simply "numb" to happiness, a form of quiet armistice or acquiescence, drifting between happiness and sadness, back and forth, in a form of Happiness neutral zone - or worse. In sum, we more or less accept our "blah-feelings" as "life"? As we age and the burdens of life, and aging, grow heavier, and our disappointments mount, and we fail to achieve someor much of what we had hoped; still, we continue marching through life giving little or no thought to our primary goal (being happy) or how we might take control and master it. There are surely many paths to happiness, and Happiness in Seven Steps outlines seven specific steps that work, period. While none of us will likely every achieve happiness 100% of the time, we can gain control of it and possess it most of the time for the rest of our lives. Anyone who masters these Seven Steps will gain control of his/her happiness for life. We owe it to ourselves, to each other and to our children to share the positive paths that we have found.

Autorenporträt
After practicing law in my early career and still being a member of the Bars in the District of Columbia and Maryland, I was among the several co-founders of roughly 100 telecommunications businesses (radio, cable TV, long distance telephone, and cellular telephone). Most of the foregoing were sold to public companies, but all are believed to still be operating. Since then, I've assisted others in inaugurating start-ups of various types, while writing books and essays (some of which are on my website).
