The devotion of each and every soldier regardless of rank or capability to be in the fight on foot and face-to-face-all this during the many nights of freezing temperatures, lack of food, medical assistance, or comfort of one's family. The many times that I visited Gettysburg and other battlefields, I feel an urge, such a passion, to learn more.

I am a resident of Westlake, Ohio, the Mother of eight adult children, seventeen grandchildren and two great-grandsons. Other than being an author, I am a successful artist and poet. I have traveled to wonderful places, both in the United States and other countries, and I have written about these places in my previous books
