Autorenporträt
Born into a renowned family of yogic practitioners, Khenpo Sherap Phuntsok has authored several books in Tibetan on philosophy and history. For many years he has taught in the institute for higher Buddhist studies at Thrangu Tashi Yangtse in Nepal. Michele Martin has been a Buddhist practitioner for over thirty years and has spent the last of those based in Nepal and India studying with Tibetan lamas and working as a translator of oral and written Tibetan. With two graduate degrees from Yale, she has also had a long career in publishing. Her own books include Music in the Sky: The Life and Teachings of the Seventeenth Karmapa OrgyenTrinley Dorje, Song for a King: Saraha's Mahamudra, and numerous translations from Tibetan texts on philosophy and meditation.
