For acceptance of probiotics based products with uniform quality, greater safety of patients, with established scientific evidences for holistic therapeutic benefits in treatment of various ailments, drafting of comprehensive regulatory guidelines is the need of the hour. The proposed work is to take lead in current international scenario by framing a comprehensive and harmonized guideline to be accepted universally.

Dr. Malika Arora has completed her UG, PG, M.phill and Ph.D. in the field of Biotechnology. Presently she is working as ICMR Scientist-I at Multidisciplinary Research Unit, Guru Gobind Singh Medical College, Faridkot. She has published various national as well as international publication. She is working in the field of probiotics/gluten allergy.
