Deep into our soul, we seek to find ourselves but only until we unlock our hearts to feel, then only at that moment do we find the key to look within the mirror. for who we are is before us each day and without ourselves there is no direction to find our way. emptiness can fill our minds but believing we can dream is the beginnings to ones voyage. The poetry in this book are journeys I take in each and every day. I hope you travel with me to understand my heart and soul and in turn find yourselves and your dreams.

Autorenporträt
Brian Rozon grew up in the projects of Parc Extension in Montreal, Canada. Born to an Irish mother and French Canadian father within a family of three siblings, he began his spiritual learning as a young altar boy for the Catholic church, spending most of his free time studying the bible and performing ritual worship while his peers played in the rough streets of his neighbourhood. However, his adolescence and the liberation movements of the 60's led Brian away from organized religion and he began writing poetry and personal memoirs. The experimental drug use of the times expanded his thoughts and ideas of a higher power but also veered him on a dangerous path towards addiction. He married young, had children, and was a divorced, single father by the time he reached his 25th birthday. Needing to provide for his family, he took on a job in sales, which suited his gregarious nature and desire to inspire, persuade, and lead. However, the decadent life of wining and dining buyers furthered his addictions. Almost losing everything, Brian recovered and began a life of sobriety and has since been preaching its virtues and the spiritual wealth of finding balance and harmony within our modern, chaotic life. Brian now lives peacefully in Laval, Canada with his wife of 25 years and their dogs, dividing his time between family and writing.
