Have you ever felt different or alone in a crowd? We are all special and see things from unique perspectives. This can sometimes lead you down your own path and adventure. Harold was born on a Christmas tree farm, and unlike the other trees who would love to be selected by a family on Christmas, he would rather stay put on the farm. Join Harold and his friends of every religion-including Buddhist beavers, Taoist squirrels, Unitarian owls, African chipmunks, Native American woodpeckers, even a visit from Hershel the Jewish Reindeer, and of course Christmas trees-as they work together to help Harold become his own holiday tree and make the farm a better place for the future. Autorenporträt
Jeff Geller, MD is part of a diverse community that includes Jewish, Christian, Buddhist, Hindu, Atheist friends and patients. Storytelling became a favorite way to answer his children's endless questions: Why does Dad always work on Christmas? Are Christmas trees Christian? and Can we get presents for BOTH Christmas and Chanukah? Stories about "Hershel", "Harold," and other characters have helped his family embrace the most meaningful parts of the many traditions and promote everyone supporting one another.
