He was sitting on the top step of the porch with his knees pulled up around his chest. He absolutely loved this place. He and Sally, his six-year-old sister, had been coming to the ranch every summer for almost their whole lives. For both of them, it was always the best two months of every year. Being with Grandpa and Grandma filled their lives with fun and adventure. Tonight was special and full of excitement for the story Grandpa told his grandchildren was one of magic, excitement, friendship, betrayal, and danger. Webster (Russ) Russell and Dee Coffeen are well-known authors of both fiction and nonfiction books. Dee and Russ met on the internet after the loss of their spouses. Their experience with Internet Dating led them to write their second book, "The Second Time Around - A Guide through the Maze of Internet Dating". Even though they are both in their 70s, they lead an active life of writing, cruising, photography, and being with friends and family. They have been around the world twice, stepped on all seven continents, and visited 80-plus countries. These cruises and the people they have met often make their way into their books. If writing books and cruising were not enough to keep them busy, they also authored a cruising website and created photo journals of the world. If you were to meet people throughout the world who know these two, they would tell you they are fun, creative, and curious all great attributes for authors.
