Autorenporträt
Mardeen lived in both North Dakota and Northern Minnesota as a child and young person and graduated from the University of North Dakota in Grand Forks with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Communications. She moved to Minneapolis after college and has lived in the Minneapolis metro ever since working in the Advertising industry. She took some time off from her Advertising career to raise her three kids, which during that time she established herself as a licensed childcare provider. She found that working with young children brought out her creativity and she began writing poems and children's stories. When her youngest child entered 1st grade, Mardeen returned to the Advertising industry, leaving all those creative stories to lie dormant. Mardeen lives in Plymouth, MN where she loves to spend time with family and friends, go for long walks, be outside and play the piano. Harry the Happy Troll is her first self-published title.
