Catherine Campbell is originally from New Zealand and now lives in Cambridgeshire in the UK She lives with her husband, son and a tortoiseshell cat called Lizzy, who inspired The Bad Cat Club series. Catherine has previously worked in theatre and television and has made a living in various ways including, writing television commercial scripts, performing improv comedy, and producing and directing shopping television. Her favourite things are cats, books, tea parties and taking afternoon naps with her young son.
