Sam Burke is a consultant who traded in small-town life for a spot in some of the biggest military and political circles. Born and raised on a third-generation family farm in Missouri, he accepted an appointment to the U.S. Naval Academy. He became a Marine Officer, spent years stationed in Japan, and served on a deployment to Afghanistan. As a Congressional staffer and military affairs portfolio manager, he handled high-level operations and served as the Operations Manager for the 59th Presidential Inauguration. Sam now works as a defense consultant in Washington, D.C.
