Around some fundamental problems of economic theory the book proposes innovative paradigms concerning the place and role of gifted natural and anthropogenic resources in the creation of goods, the ratio of accumulation of wealth and welfare, the productive and consumer forces of society, the transformation of economic goods into social goods, the importance of moderation of consumption for the general welfare, etc. Some objective laws of the socio-economic system are formulated.

Born in 1934. Graduated from TSU, worked in economics and was a postgraduate. In 1966 he became a Candidate of Sciences. Since 1997 - Professor. In 1975 he was awarded the State Prize of Georgia in the field of Science and Technology. Since 1964 he worked in research institutes and universities.
