This is the fourth work Janice VanHorne-Lane has published with Arcadia Publishing and The History Press. Her other works include Carroll County: A Place to Call Home, Carrollton: Then & Now and Safe Houses and the Underground Railroad in East Central Ohio. Janice has lived in Carroll County most of her life. When she isn't writing, Janice works as a secretary for Mount Pleasant Methodist Church and can often be found at her storefront, Kase-n-Lane Eclectic Artisans, where she makes and sells custom, handmade items.
