Autorenporträt
John Marc Carr was born in Astoria, Queens, New York. At the age of three, John and his family moved to Long Island to escape the hard life of the city. They lived in a Cape Cod house in Garden City Park and began to remodel the house when Carr was eleven. As soon as the renovations started, unusual happenings began to occur. Doors would open and close on their own, footsteps could be heard walking up and down the steps and the sound of names being called would lure family members to empty rooms. John spent seven years hiding his head under his blankets and feeling unseen visitors sitting next to him on his bed. The family eventually had the house blessed and later moved away, but his experience with the paranormal shaped his life and forged his career. John now uses his expertise as a paranormal investigator and helps those who are going through the same ordeal with their own homes. He founded SEFGR, the South East Florida Ghost Research team, and enjoys entertaining others with his popular Fort Lauderdale Ghost Tour.
