This study is about the integration of animal ethics in the luxury goods industry in 2017. In haute couture, it is common for major brands to work with animal skins for leather goods or accessories. Consumers only see part of this world through the advertising campaigns that make them dream, but they don't really know how these products are made, or the suffering that may lie behind them. The aim of this manuscript is to demonstrate the condition of animals on farms and to describe the different techniques used to obtain fur and leather. She will briefly compare the haute couture industry with the luxury food industry, and will also point out the companies that are suspected of not respecting animal ethics as well as those that are exemplary on this subject. We will also discover the materials that can replace leather or fur and save the lives of millions of animals every year.
