Dave Bench has worked over 30 years for a National Reference Laboratory. In addition to "Take Me to the Beach!", Dave has also written "Take Me to the Zoo!". He illustrated "The New Kid" written by his wife, Liesl. A father and grandfather, he enjoys cooking and spending time with his family. Dave resides in Salt Lake City, Utah.
