Autorenporträt
HUGO MCPHERSON received his B.A. from University of Manitoba in 1949, his M.A. from University of Western Ontario in 1950, and his PH.D. from University of Toronto in 1956. He lectured at McGill, University of Manitoba, and University of British Columbia before going to University of Toronto as assistant professor in 1956. In 1965 he became full professor, then a year later went to University of Western Ontario to the Department of Canadian and American Studies. He is at present COmmissioner of the National Film Board of Canada.
