Autorenporträt
Dr. Zarook Shareefdeen, PhD, PEng, is a Professor at the American University of Sharjah, UAE. He received his PhD in Chemical Engineering from the New Jersey Institute of Technology and is a Registered Professional Engineer in Canada. Dr. Shareefdeen also worked for several institutions, including University of Waterloo, University of California, BIOREM Inc., Ontario and King Fahd University of Petroleum and Minerals, Saudi Arabia. His research and teaching interests are in waste management, pollution control, heat transfer, biofiltration, bioreactor modelling, and conversion of wastes to energy technologies.
