Autorenporträt
Peter Locher ist geboren 1936 in Munderkingen bei Ulm, Süddeutschland. Nach dem Studium der Theologie in Tübingen, München und Milwaukee, USA, wurde er Priester in der gerade neu gegründeten Gemeinschaft der Schönstattpatres. Nach erstem pastoralen Einsatz in Texas wurde er nach Deutschland zurück berufen und war dann nahezu ausschließlich im Dienste der eigenen Gemeinschaft tätig: zwölf Jahre Provinzial, Novizenmeister in Deutschland und in Indien, Ausbildungsleiter bei verschiedenen Weiterbildungen. Sein Leben ist deshalb geprägt von Fragen der Erziehung und darunter von ausführlicher Tätigkeit bei Männern und Frauen in der Geistlichen Begleitung.
