Charlotte Valentine and Amanda Hopewell 'met' virtually on Instagram in 2021 and decided to collaborate together on a writing project. He Walks Past My House began life as a series of alternately written live daily posts. Encouraged by the response the story received, they continued to write and post until it became a full-length novel. Charlotte studied Law and worked in corporate life before leaving to study for her MA in Literature; this inspired her to write creatively herself. Amanda has been writing since she was eight.
