The researcher tried to find out the possibilities and problems behind the effective leadership for the schools. This research was done in both the rural and urban areas to have the clear idea about the kind of leadership the head teachers provide.

Sheikh Mohammad Ali is currently working as a Senior Lecturer in BRAC University, Dhaka, Bangladesh. He did his 2nd M.Ed. on Educational Leadership from the University of Canterbury, New Zealand in 2011. He did his 1st M.Ed. from Institute of Education and Research (IER), Dhaka University. Basically his area of teaching is 'Teacher Education'.
