This study focused on examining the relationship between head teachers' supervision and teachers' performance in Universal Primary Education schools in Bubulo Constituency, Manafwa district, Uganda. The objectives that guided the study were: to determine the relationship between head teachers' supervision and teachers' preparation of pedagogical documents; to determine the relationship between head teachers' supervision and teachers' classroom instruction and management; as well as to determine the relationship between head teachers' supervision and teachers' assessment and evaluation of learners. The study was basically cross-sectional survey which involved quantitative and qualitative approaches. The study was carried out in all 30 UPE Primary Schools in Manafwa District with a parent population of one hundred thirty (130) teachers and thirty head teachers (30). Out of these, a sample of 113 teachers and 30 head teachers was taken, using simple random and purposive sampling. Teachers filled questionnaires on their performance, while the headteachers and a few teachers were interviewed orally. For the three research objectives, the data collected were analyzed using inferentials.
