Rosenberg grew up in Texas but has spent over half his adult life living and working as a screenwriter in Australia. At an early age he became an adventurer, taking a job as an estate agent in London, living for a year on a kibbutz and traveling overland through Asia.Rosenberg has made films with Miles Davis, Daniel (Harry Potter) Radcliffe and Jeremy Irons, winning two Australian Writers' Guild Awards and the Los Angeles Fade-In Grand Prize for Best Original Screenplay. He has contributed to the journal Film International, written a book on screenwriting, The Screenplay Tree, and has taught extensively in the US, India, China and Australia.
