This work was done at the department of foreign journalism and literature of the Institute of Journalism of the Belarusian State University, under the scientific supervision of the docent Boris Zalesski. The article investigates the specificity of rubrication in the highly specialized musical editions by the example of the Japanese periodicals of this direction, in particular, the magazine Rock&Read. The author determines the differences in the media policy about the use of rubrics and identifies the features of both traditional and innovative sections. She also offers practical recommendations for the application of Japanese rubrication in the Belarusian reality.
