Dr. Douglas W. Stoddard MD, M Sport Med, Dip Sport Med, ES Sport Medicine and Regenerative Injection Physician Medical Director, RegenerVate¿ Dr. Stoddard is a sport medicine and injection physician in Toronto and is the medical director of RegenerVate¿, one of the first and most highly regarded musculoskeletal regenerative medical injection therapy clinics in Canada. After receiving his medical degree from the University of Toronto, he trained at the Australian Institute of Sport in Canberra, Australia, obtaining his master's degree in Sport Medicine. Dr. Stoddard's sports medicine work has included travel with Canada's national ball hockey team, providing on site medical coverage for the Subaru Triathlon Series, and functioning as medical director of Eastern Ironman Canada, as well as working with the National Ballet of Canada. His injection training, including ultrasound, PRP, and prolotherapy, was primarily done in the US. As a recognized expert in regenerative medical injection therapy, he is frequently called upon to advise, speak, and write about research, trends, and the future of this promising area of medicine. Dr. Stoddard is a diplomat of the Canadian Academy of Sport and Exercise Medicine (CASEM), has his Exercise Specialist designation from the American College of Sports Medicine, and his master's degree in Sport and Exercise Medicine from the Australian Institute of Sport. He is a proud father of two boys, an avid snowboarder and triathlete, and occasional guitar player.
