Vanessa A. Camilleri holds a BA in Psychology and Education from Vassar College in Poughkeepsie, New York, and an MA in Music Therapy from New York University. She has run two music therapy programs in inner city charter schools in New York City and Washington DC to help children develop social skills that enable them to succeed in school and beyond. She has also supervised undergraduate and graduate level students of music therapy, published several journal articles and book chapters, and has presented at regional and national conferences.
