"Healing while Hurting" is a book about grief and growth. I have been writing ever since I could hold a pen. I have always found writing as a way to express myself. My love of poetry started in the fourth grade, thanks to my teacher Barbara Schmidt. If you leave with anything, I hope you leave with knowing it is ok to not be ok. And it is ok to be ok. All of your feelings when grieving and healing are valid. There is no wrong or right way through this.
