Autorenporträt
John Carrier is a retired academic who has spent most of his teaching career at the London School of Economics mainly in the Department of Social Policy and also, since retirement, in the Department of Law. He was also Dean of Graduate Studies. He has long experience as a lay member of NHS Trust Boards, is an Honorary Fellow of the Royal College of Physicians and an Honorary Bencher of Lincoln's Inn. Ian Kendall is a retired academic who spent his teaching career at the University of Portsmouth in the School of Social and Historical Studies, where he was also Dean of the Faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences for several years.
