The focus of this research is to understand physical & psychological health status of residents in senior care homes in long term care facilities in the U.S. Psychological health status with special reference to depression was examined in the residents. Dr. Renu Abraham Varughese, MS, MPhil, PhD, is tenured teaching faculty in the School of Health and Natural Sciences at Mercy College, New York. Her doctoral thesis is on cross cultural comparative study of older adults residing in long term care centers of India and USA.
