In this study discussed the socio-economic status of fisher women both rural and urban in Visakhapatnam district of Andhra Pradesh and analyzed the morbidity pattern and medical attention received by the fisher women. The study explained the impact of socio-economic factors on the health and nutritional status of fisher women. The present study is one such best attempt in understanding the health and nutritional status of fisher women.
