Autorenporträt
Joli Hannah, a children’s book author and publisher, started working with international publishers in 2000 to create children’s books, which over time she began writing herself. She is raising three children in a charming house in the countryside, and every night before bedtime, she reads or invents original stories for them. Joli works under a pseudonym, as she wishes her readers to perceive her through her stories and not through her image on social media. She loves life, people, and their stories, and was born and raised in an industrial city in Central Europe. Laura Deo is an illustrator from Salerno, a beautiful city by the sea in Southern Italy. She grew up surrounded by books, colors, paintings, and music. As a child she spent every waking moment reading stories, watching movies and cartoons, and drawing funny characters again and again! Today her life is not that different, only now she does a lot of compulsive shopping as well. Deeply in love with the work of Mary Blair and more in general with the 50's and 60's style, once she approached the world of illustration she never went back. She studied Illustration and Digital art at "Scuola Italiana di Comix" in Naples, Italy and started working mostly on picture books and scholastic books. She enjoys working for advertising and magazines as well.
