Autorenporträt
Karen Coogan is a native of Houston, Texas, and spent her early years enjoying life along the Gulf Coast. She now lives in the Southwest with her family and pets. After high school, she attended Texas A&M as well as the University of Houston where she obtained a BS in early childhood education. Although she has written numerous articles and stories, she particularly enjoys writing contemporary and historical romance. Heart of the Mountains is Karen's sixth book.
