Shuína Skó, Indigenous Two-Spirit queer gender-fluid poet, is an internationally known Indigenous spoken word artist whose books have been sold throughout Turtle Island (North America) and other countries. This is a shame-free, inclusive, and sex-positive book containing 28 short stories inspired by queer love, lust, and loss. A writing prompt follows each of the 28 poems and invites the reader to become more intimately engaged. Indigenous guest poet, Jerilyn Alderman-Hansson, provides the 29th bonus poem. Shuína Skó vulnerably shares their stories as storytelling creates opportunities for us to become more enlightened and compassionate people, which in turn enables us to become a more equitable and culturally competent society.
