This book is the story of Annette's journey that began after she found her husband dead from a self-inflicted gunshot wound. While working through her healing process, she created these art pieces and she journaled her heart's struggles. She didn't create this to be publicly viewed, but after seeing its impact on others, she realized it was meant to be shared. She died tragically less than 2 years after starting this project.

Autorenporträt
Annette was born in Ohio in 1954, the oldest of 7 children. She excelled in academics, art, writing and music; an amazing combination of both left and right brain. Her love for art and music moved her to Nashville, TN.She eventually became Vice President of LegacyTree Foundation. Many lives were touched by her passionate zest for living, through her art and music, her faith and her love for people.Near the end of her life, Annette wrote these words: "I would like these pieces and images to help others who have experienced emotional damage to their hearts. It would be amazing if someone who is all bound up inside sees maybe just one of these images of wounded brokenness and feels like they can relate - that this describes how they feel inside but couldn't articulate it and now they know they are not alone! I would desire that the images of the healing process could begin to manifest themselves and take root, to give hope to others who feel irreparable devastated or torn apart!
