The interest in alternative power units has increased. It is now clear that a conventional combustion engine is not a good energy transformer. He graduated from the Faculty of Mechanical Engineering in ¿ilina, Department of Transport and Handling Technology, Department of Combustion Engines and Aircraft Engines. After studying, he enrolled in PhD at the Department of Power Engineering, where he dealt with work on heat transfer to the Stirling engine working medium.
