Heaven is a far-away planet, where people enjoy a totally satisfying way of life in which everything they need is supplied by their technology. They are increasingly shocked by events on Earth as global warming, overpopulation, gross inequalities in wealth, and dangerous wars put all life at risk. People on Heaven decide to help, and a team is selected to travel to Earth. Their arrival provokes many world leaders into extreme actions to defend their privileged lives and provokes widely unexpected reactions from the wider population. As the visitors struggle to save the world from human selfishness and greed, the younger members of the team are surprisingly attracted by various superficial aspects of life on Earth. This all throws new light on the key questions which humans wrestle with; and in this way, Heaven on Earth challenges readers to think about the way we all live on this crowded planet.
