Ahmed K. Nazir, M.D. was born in Rawalpindi, Pakistan. There, he graduated from Gordon College, then joined King Edward Medical College, Lahore, Pakistan as a medical student. In his early medical career, Dr. Nazir served as a physician in Pakistan and England. Before joining psychiatry residency, he obtained some postgraduate training in other basic specialities of the field of Medicine. Dr Nazir has practiced psychiatry in America for 25 years including a term in US Air Force as a psychiatrist. Some newspapers and magazines have published several of his articles in English and Urdu. Dr. Nazir likes checkers, music, poetry, attentive reading, and studying the Holy Quran.
