Daniel Florent AKONO stammt aus dem Süden Kameruns, wo er mit einer Leidenschaft für das Verständnis von Umweltphänomenen aufwuchs. Er hat einen Doktortitel/PhD in Geowissenschaften und ist Autor mehrerer Arbeiten in den Bereichen Sedimentologie und Umweltgeochemie.
