Among its complications, the diabetic foot is one of the most common, aggravating the patient's clinical condition, diminishing quality of life and having a major socio-economic impact. This text is a very useful material that addresses the importance of Heberprot-p, a Cuban product, unique and first of its kind, injectable formulation, which is administered directly into diabetic foot ulcers (UPD) to accelerate healing, reducing the risk of amputation, the costs associated with treatment such as hospital stay and postoperative care, improving the quality of life of diabetic patients.
