Klaas Spronk, Ph.D. (1986), is Professor of Old Testament at the Protestant Theological University, Amsterdam. He has published monographs and articles on biblical theology, the religions of the ancient Near East and on contextual interpretation of the Bible. Eveline van Staalduine-Sulman, Ph.D. (2002), is Professor of the reception History of the Hebrew Bible in Antiquity at Vrije Universiteit Amsterdam. She has published monographs and articles on the Jewish reception history of the Hebrew Bible, especially on Targum Jonathan. Contributors are: Wout van Bekkum, F.J.
