This book is broken into very short sectors- remembrances of the journey I had through life. It is a memoir that takes readers through childhood with family, harsh realities of addiction, and a brief pause in specific memories to discuss signs of abuse (I was not able to share that portion of my story). It introduces a business, Heed Hydrosols and the fragrance of the freedom from the obstacles faced.

Cassandra Szafranski has spent time researching the benefits of nature in relation to health, including aromatherapy and grounding. As a single mother of two boys, enrolled in full time university, and working in the dental field, she faced many obstacles in the fight to change her life from addiction and abuse to freedom. HEED is the introduction to her business, Heed Hydrosols, and an attempt to bring conversations of freedom to her community. Aside from philanthropic goals, she enjoys running, reading, fishing, skydiving, and growing a bioactive vivarium for her tortoises. Cassandra loves to try new things and immerse herself in understanding the world around her through experience, conversation, and faith.
