Prostate Cancer is an important public issue around the world. In New Zealand alone it is the most commonly diagnosed cancer and the second highest cause of male death. This Heideggerian study aims to offer a deeper understanding of the meaning men attach to this experience and the effects of the diagnosis and treatments in a man being-in-the-world. Autorenporträt
Rosana Eteia Vasconcelos was born in Brazil in 1959. She gained her degree in Clinical Psychology in 1982 from Universidade de São Francisco in Itatiba-SP. Rosana began studying Heidegger when she took part in a clinical study group for seven years. In 2001 she moved to New Zealand. She concluded her Masters at AUT University in 2009.
