Autorenporträt
Anna Samborska is an author, journalist and translator born and raised in Poland, living in San Francisco. "Hela" is her debut novel. She has published magazine articles in "Gazeta Wyborcza", "Tylko Rock", "Teatr", "Scena", "Zycie Warszawy". Translator: "The Haunted Land - Facing Europe's Ghosts after Communism" (Tina Rosenberg, Pulitzer Prize 1996, Rebis Poland 1997) and "The Auschwitz Photographer" (Anna Dobrowolska, Rekontrplan Film Group 2015).
