Susan Akass MA (Oxon), MEd, PGCE has had wide experience as a primary school teacher in charge of science. Now concentrating on her publishing work, she is the general editor of CICO Kids 'My First' series as well as the author of My First Book of My Body, My First Science Book, My First Bicycle Book, and Super Slime. She lives in Bath, is a keen vegetable grower and enjoys travelling around Europe in a camper van.
