Zovawk pig is an indigenous pig breed available in Mizoram state of India.This pig is of scavenging type and are reared by Mizo community in rural areas of Mizoram. Baseline data on hematological and blood biochemical parameters of Zovawk pig in different age groups, seasons and sex are presented in the book. Dr. Prava Mayengbam completed B.V.Sc. & A.H. under AAU, Assam, India, M.V. Sc. & A.H. under JNKVV, Jabalpur, M.P., India and Ph.D. in Animal Physiology from NDRI, Karnal, Haryana, India. Presently, she is working as an Assistant Professor at C.V.Sc. & A.H., CAU, Aizawl, Mizoram, India. She has published 15 research papers in referred journals.
